Rafa's wing breakdown at Benfica

Rafa Benitez has revealed that he will be making a decision on the future of Rafa's wing-back at Benfica this week.

The Spaniard, who joined the Portuguese club in January, has struggled to find his form since joining the club and has been linked with a move away from the Estadio da Luz.

However,Campeonato Brasileiro Glamour Benitez insists that he is not ready to make any decisions regarding his player just yet and that he will wait until after the international break before taking any action.

"I have to see how my players perform," Benitez said. "I want to know if they can play well together and I also want to know their physical condition."

Benitez has made it clear that he wants to keep his best players at Benfica but admits that he may have to make some difficult decisions as he looks to strengthen the team for next season.

He added: "We have a lot of good players here and we need to improve them. We have to work hard and make sure we don't lose anyone.

"But we also have to think about the future and what is best for the club."

It remains to be seen whether Benitez will make any changes to his squad before the end of the season but there is no doubt that he will continue to focus on improving the team and ensuring that they are in a position to compete for honours next year.
